Travel Insurance is a program system that allows protect you from unforeseen expenses when travelling abroad. Allianz Ukraine Insurance policy provides you with reliable protection from a wide range of risks ranging from recovery of medical expenses through to civil liability and loss of luggage.
As soon as the insured event occurs, Allianz Ukraine will provide you with assistance and support.
Advantages of the program:
- Allianz Insurance coverage operates worldwide.
- In addition to medical insurance and medical and transportation costs while travelling abroad, the program includes luggage insurance, services of legal assistance, as well as accident insurance.
- The sum insured under the policy can vary from 10 thousand USD (EUR) to 75 000 USD (EUR).
- You can insure yourself for period of time when going in for sport and active leisure activities.
- You will get the highest level of service in the CIS countries and abroad.
- Traveler receives assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Allianz insurance program is used not only by citizens of Ukraine, but also by foreigners, either permanently or temporarily residing in Ukraine.
Under this program, we insure individuals, residents and non-residents under the age of 6 months to 75 years (hereinafter - the Insured persons).
When insuring medical and additional costs during the trip the insured event is:
- The need to provide medical care and other services in connection with acute illness, exacerbation of chronic illness, health impairment caused by an accident, death of the Insured person, namely:
outpatient care;
inpatient care;
emergency care;
dental care;
medical transportation of the Insured person (transportation of the Insured person to a specialized medical institution or medical establishment at the place of permanent residence (medical evacuation);
repatriation of the remains of the Insured person.
In addition, depending on the selected insurance programs, we compensate:
- travel expenses of a close relative of the Insured person to his country in case of hospitalization of the Insured person;
- costs for return of minor children of the Insured person home and, if necessary – their accompaniment by a third party, if the Insured person is unable to do it because of illness;
- travel costs to the Insured person returning home in the event of death of his/her close relative;
- travel costs to the employee, who substitute the Insured person in carrying out job responsibilities in the event of sickness of the Insured person;
- the costs of legal services (appointment of attorney and provision of guarantee);
- costs connected with inconvenience when using air transport:
- hotel, food and alternative transportation costs of the Insured person, if the flight is delayed or cancelled;
- the costs for purchasing essentials and clothing by the Insured person in case of late delivery of luggage;
- the costs for purchasing essentials by the Insured person in case of loss, damage or destruction of luggage;
- the costs for re-issuance of documents of the Insured person lost or stolen abroad (passport, driving licence, vehicle registration certificate, etc.). Insured events of the Accident insurance program are:
- Death of the Insured person caused by an accident;
- Assignment of disability of groups 1 to 3 (including change of disability group for a higher) to the Insured person caused by an accident.
The sum insured is up to UAH 20,000.
The sum insured is established by agreement of the parties with regard to the requirements of the consular department of the embassy of the country of trip.
The price depends on:
- The list of covered expenses;
- The amount insured;
- Validity of the policy;
- Availability of a franchise;
- The territory of insurance.
The validity term of the insurance agreement may vary from 3 days to 1 year depending on the travel duration
The territory of the insurance agreement is the whole world.
Franchise: it is possible to include it in the agreement in the amount of 50EUR, 100EUR or 150EUR.
Documents required to sign an insurance agreement: passport of the Insured.
