Insurance of machinery and manufacturing equipment against breakage
Allianz Ukraine offers a Program of machinery and manufacturing equipment insurance against breakage – insurance coverage for industrial machinery and equipment in case of breakage and unexpected failure (breakdown).
In addition to insurance of machinery and manufacturing equipment against breakage, Allianz Ukraine offers insurance against business interruption caused by machinery and manufacturing equipment breakage.
We accept for insurance:
Energy (power) and other machines, machine tools and equipment:
- boilers and steam boilers with supplementary or optional equipment;
- power generating machines (steam boilers, turbines, generators);
- power distribution machines and plants (transformer, high- and low-voltage units);
- production and auxiliary machines (machine tool station, weaver’s looms, processing paper-making machines, blenders and mixers, pumps, compressors, devices, pipelines, construction machinery);
- mechanical equipment (machines, fans, compressors, presses, refrigerator compartments);
- equipment and tools.
Insured event
It is possible to have package insurance for equipment against all risks of internal impact (but for the exceptions), such as:
- unexpected breakage or faults, design faults and calculation errors, machine manufacture and assembly faults, casting flaws and material defects;
- mistakes and errors, negligence or recklessness of the Insured or a third party’s personnel, that is operating and/or using insured property;
- hydraulic impact or fluid lack in boilers and devices operated with the help of steam or fluids;
- electric power impact, such as short circuit, power supply network overload, voltage drop, atmosphere discharge (but for thunderbolt) etc., including damages and losses from fire as a result of the abovementioned events, if the losses are inflicted directly to the objects, in which the fire originated ;
- physical explosion of steam boilers, internal combustion engines and other energy supplies, provided the damages, which are related to the objects specified directly as the ones the explosion originated from, are only paid for (physical explosion means turbine or flywheels rupture as a result of centrifugal effect, reservoir rupture as a result of liquid pressure or reservoir material fault etc.);
- vibration and centrifugal effect.
Insurance premium
The amount of the insurance premium depends on equipment type, sphere and period of use, insurance coverage, franchise and amount insured.
