Property and LiabilityInsurance
Property and Liability Insurance is one of the principal directions in Allianz operation. Over 55% of insurance premiums collected all over the world are received by the Company from these insurance types. Allianz is traditionally considered to be a leader in the area of industrial risks insurance. At present more than a half of the companies included into FORTUNE 500 have their property and liability insured by Allianz.
Life and Health Insurance
Life and health insurance is a direction where Allianz has the lead in the German insurance market as well as among large European insurance companies. Financial stability and high service level of life and health insurance are provided by Allianz in subsidiaries being constantly founded all over the world.
Asset Management
Asset management is the third direction in Allianz operation, which became a separate company in 1998 (Allianz Asset Management Group, AAM Group). For several decades the Company has operated providing the other companies with its services in investment management. For more than hundred years Allianz has specialized in insurance companies’ asset management. At present the Company is managing assets of more than 300 investment funds and this number is constantly increasing.
Subsidiary Companies
Allianz has a broad network of subsidiary companies all over the world. Today, Allianz Group unites about 700 companies in 77 countries. The largest companies are operating in France (Assurances Generales de France), England (Cornhill Insurance), Italy (Riunione Adriatica di Sicurta), Switzerland (ELVIA), the USA (Firemans Fund). In May 2000 PIMCO Advisors Consulting Company joined Allianz Group. The Company is gradually expanding its presence in the markets of Eastern Europe and Asia.
Expanding Activities in Ukraine
Ukraine is one of the most prospective developing markets and a priority direction for Allianz Group.
Allianz intends to continue and expand its activities in Ukraine in all the principal business directions to create an integral platform providing the Ukrainian customers with the possibility to take all advantages of the products having already become popular all over the world, the Company’s financial results and international service level.
Since 2007 Allianz has considerably strengthened its positions in the Ukrainian corporate and retail service market, including the growing motor insurance sector. Now the Company is actively using the accumulated knowledge base and market comprehension for its further development.

– countries allow the Company to ensure a more dynamic growth and become a leader in the markets of life insurance, property and property interests аs well as assets management. In the markets of Central and Eastern Europe Allianz (already represented by 10 companies in 8 countries) tends to strengthen the leading positions.
