16. 07. 10. Garry Andreasian was appointed acting Director General of Allianz Ukraine Insurance Company

Garry Andreasian was appointed acting Director General of Allianz Ukraine Ins. Co. from August 01, 2010. His previous position was Sales Director of Allianz Ukraine. The new appointment is connected with the appointment of Joachim Wessling, who had been heading the company for the last 3 years, Head and Regional Manager of Allianz Indonesia. Joachim Wessling has worked for Allianz for over 27 years. He joined the Ukrainian team in 2007 as Allianz official representative in Ukraine, аnd in March 2008, he became Director General of Allianz Ukraine. High professional skills and long-term experience in the field of insurance allowed Joachim successfully complete the process of the company restructuring aimed at work with clients through different sales channels, stabilize of operation of the regional network and create a platform, with which Allianz Ukraine has a possibility to develop in any market segment, including retail sales. The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Hannes Chopra, has expressed gratitude and thanks to Joachim Wessling for excellent work and results achieved for the time of work for Allianz Ukraine. Garry Andreasian was born in 1979 in Erevan (Armenia). In 2000, he graduated from the East-Ukrainian University (faculty of law) with honors majoring in “Law”. In 2000-2003, he was a postgraduate student (majoring in international law) at the Institute of state and law named after Volodymyr Koretsky at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. From December 2002 to December 2005, Garry Andreasian worked for INGO Ukraine Insurance Company, where he was responsible for property and liability insurance underwriting. Garry joined Allianz Ukraine Insurance Company in December 2005 as underwriter. Later on, in October 2006, he was appointed deputy Insurance Director, and in December 2007 – Insurance Director of Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. Since April 2008, Garry was Deputy Director General of Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. and Member of the Directorate of the Company. Since March 2009, he was Sales Director and was responsible for corporate business development and implementation of the company’s strategic initiatives. |
